One of the most exhilarating parts of the annual Top Dog Championship is the opportunity for sponsors, donors, and volunteers to get behind the wheel of a real race car—on a real track. It is a rare chance to feel the adrenaline, grip the wheel, and take a lap in the name of something bigger than yourself.
Until now, we have relied on two tried-and-true favorites: the Rally4Vets-edition 1997 NA Miata and our C6 Corvette. Both have delivered unforgettable experiences. But after years of smiles, shifts, and podium selfies, it may be time for an upgrade.
We are exploring new options—vehicles that reflect the spirit of our mission: modern, affordable, reliable, and most importantly, accessible to drivers of all experience levels. And yes, still ridiculously fun.
One strong contender? Toyota’s GR86. Lightweight, agile, and track-ready, it checks nearly every box. The Toyota team recently shared a reel that has us thinking seriously: could this be our next experience car?
We want your input. Is the GR86 the right fit? Or is there another modern classic that deserves the spotlight?
Drop your thoughts in the comments or shoot us a message. Let’s choose our next ride together.
Here's what the Rally4Vets GR86 would look like. Well, assuming Falken decides to partner with us!
