VETERANS LOST DAILY - WHY WE EXIST

WHERE IT BEGAN

A MISSION BUILT ON LOSS, DRIVEN BY COMPASSION AND DUTY.

"The road has always been where veterans find each other.  We built Rally4Vets to make certain veterans don't have to take that road alone."

Rally4Vets | DVEN was founded with a simple, urgent conviction: veterans who stay connected to community, purpose, and each other are less likely to die by suicide. The statistics are staggering; an average of 20 veterans die by suicide every single day. That number is not a statistic to us. It's the reason we wake up and build.

We started with motorsports because speed, competition, and shared experience have always brought people together — especially people who've served. The first events showed us something immediate: when veterans get behind the wheel together, when they compete, laugh, and push each other, something changes. The isolation breaks. The purpose returns.

From those early track days, Rally4Vets has grown into a national veteran support network. We are expanding our motorsports events and adding pickleball programs and cycling events.

Our fundraising supports our veteran service dog programs.

THE AMERICAN LEGION'S "BE THE ONE" CAMPAIGN

ONE CONVERSATION CAN SAVE A LIFE.

Healing doesn't always begin in a clinic.  It starts with a question, a moment of attention, a friend who showed up. These three actions, practiced by anyone, anywhere, are how we collectively protect the veterans in our lives.

ASK

Check in on the veterans in your life.  Genuinely, specifically, and without waiting for a sign that something is wrong. Asking isn't intrusive. It's protective.

LISTEN

When they talk, stay present. You don't need to solve anything. The act of being heard — without judgment, without rushing to fix — is itself a form of support that saves lives.

REACH OUT

If someone is struggling, act. Connect them to the Veterans Crisis Line (988, Press 1), to Rally4Vets, or simply stay close. Distance is one of the most dangerous things a veteran can experience.

Connection

Research consistently shows that peer connection and community support are among the most effective protective factors against veteran suicide.
