Preparing for the Journey

With 37 days on the road, our team needs to carry a bunch of gear. While the WRX has a backseat, we expect some of our sponsors to join us along the way. So, we're adding a roof cargo box.

Step 1 was the roof rack. After a thorough YouTube research session, we decided on the Subaru OEM rack system. The installation was pretty straightforward, except for aligning the set screws.

Choosing the Right Carrier

Step 2 was an Inno 660 low-profile carrier coming from one of my favorite stores—REI.

We believe it will be super practical and look great, too.
