VETTYS BANNER.png

The VETTYS are awarded not for battlefield heroics — but for what happens after.

For those who leave military service and continue their mission in new ways: through leadership, innovation, public service, justice, healing, and advocacy.

This ceremony exists to honor the bold, the enduring, and the quietly transformative.

Nominees include veterans from allied nations across the globe. Their fields of impact range from mental health and entrepreneurship to global diplomacy and legal reform.

A NEW ERA FOR THE VETTYS

In 2024, the VETTYS entered a bold new chapter.

Under the stewardship of Robert Hess, founder of the Disabled Veteran Empowerment Network (DVEN) and longtime champion of veteran recognition, the rights to the Veterans Awards were officially acquired.

With this transition, the VETTYS will now be hosted and presented by DVEN and RALLY4VETS, carrying forward a legacy that has honored extraordinary post-military achievement for nearly a decade — and reimagining it for a global audience.

On Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Washington, D.C., the 9th Annual VETTYS will unfold on a national stage. The date is not accidental — it is the eve of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a time set aside to reflect on service, sacrifice, and the unfinished work of justice.

The ceremony will take place in a theater-style amphitheater, designed to elevate not only the honorees, but the stories they represent.

This is not a gala. It is not a banquet.

It is a formal ceremony of recognition, crafted with reverence and cinematic detail.

The evening begins with red carpet arrivals — not for spectacle, but for honor.

Veterans, elected officials, celebrities, and change-makers will walk beneath the lights, welcomed with the elegance and respect befitting their achievements.

Media presence, photographers, and members of the press will be invited to capture these arrivals as part of the broader story: one of resilience, rebirth, and rightful celebration.

A GLOBAL AUDIENCE

This year’s ceremony will welcome veterans from across allied nations, further establishing the VETTYS as a global standard of recognition.

Military leaders, humanitarian figures, entrepreneurs, artists, and public servants will gather not just to witness — but to stand together in unity.

Service is not bound by borders. Nor is its recognition.
