Our fancy C6 Corvette continues to be one of the best road cars I have ever driven. My wife would not agree because the suspension is tuned for the track and the seats are Sparco Evo race seats with a six point harness. The car is stiff but - wow - does it hold the road.
I continue to meet dedicated American Legion veterans at every post I visit. The national American Legion "Be The One" suicide prevention campaign is in action all across the US.
My stops included Post 1160 in Chicago Ridge, Post 357 on US 20 heading to Toledo, and the Commander of Ohio's 1st District. The first Vice Commander and former Commander also met me at Ohio's first (heading east) Medal of Honor highway sign right on the Indiana/Ohio border
If you stop in Chicago Ridge and like big breakfasts, Flap Jacks is the place to go!
Andrea at Post 357 received an official Rally4Vets "libation liberation device," aka a bottle opener. Each of our Top Dog champions at the 4th annual Top Dog Championships in October will receive one.
